On Saturday, May 11, 2019, firm partner, Tom Keegan, was honored, along with his fellow Brickhouse Brewery partners, for their positive impact on and support of the Patchogue Theatre for Performing Arts, as well as the Village of Patchogue, as a whole.
Mr. Keegan opened the Brickhouse Brewery with partners in 1996, sparking a renewed success of Patchogue Village. Their continued efforts to better their village and the businesses operating in the area were honored by the Theatre, Brookhaven Town, Suffolk County and NY State. Paula Murphy looked forward to kicking back last Monday night.
It was, “PBS News Hour,” here I come.
But her son Evan called to coax her a second time. He was meeting a friend at Great South Bay Bar. “Please, ma, come. There’s someone who wants to meet you,” he persisted. And besides, Evan said, Tom Keegan wanted her there. So she dutifully showed up.

Tom Keegan Honored with Proclamation
Long-time community supporter, Tom Keegan, received a well-deserved Proclamation from Senator Thomas Croci. Tom was named Grand Marshal of the 2017 Patchogue Village St. Patrick’s Day Parade, an event he started years ago and has work hard to build into the amazing event it is today: a parade down Main Street that is preceded by a 5k run and followed by a day of celebration.

Thomas J. Keegan, Jr. Receives 2014 Chamber Spirit Award
Former Chamber President and Dinner Chair, Lari Fiala (left) presents Tom Keegan (right) with the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce JP BROWN SPIRIT AWARD. The award is named after the late Justus P. Brown who for decades helped guide Patchogue in general and the Central Business District in particular. While the community lost JP in 2008, his “spirit” definetly lives on in Patchogue. Tom was the proud recipient of the award at the 2014 Installation Dinner.
